I developed this on a System 7.1 machine, but it should also work under System 6 with Multifinder.
I corrected a flaw that set Unix file permissions to "0777". It is now "0644". Is that OK with you people?
But this is basically the same as the previous version.
First: This will convert most binary files to ASCII text that can be sent over the Internet. It will NOT encode the Resource fork. But you can send ".cpt" and ".sit" files this way. Also GIF files. Anything that is pure binary.
Second: It will decode uuencoded files to their original binary format.
This application also has the capability of translating ASCII text files between MAC and PC and Unix (or is it eunuchs) formats. ( I guess you've got my sense of humor , right?)
